Justin Bieber Shares the Meaning Behind Some of His Favorite Tattoos
Justin Bieber opened up about his obvious love for tattoos and how they represent different parts of his career and personal life in a late Vogue article. On March 22, Vogue released an interview they had with Bieber and he expressed the “important role” his tattoos have served as he evolved into the artist that his fans know and love today.
On March 22, Vogue shared to Twitter promotional photos for Vogue Magazine. In the photo’s Bieber is seen wearing an unbuttoned flannel while posing with his tattoos.

Bieber’s tattoos were always inspired by his devotion to music and his growth as a person, his body is a canvas that holds many meaningful pieces of art. In honor of Bieber’s late album, Purpose which was released on March 18, the singer tattooed “Purpose” across his torso in addition to many other musical tattoo’s.
When Bieber explained his tattoo of a bear which is just under his right shoulder he stated, “As tough and resilient as a bear is, it always hibernates, which is so important. We as humans go, go, and go without resting and it can leave us exhausted and drained”. Bieber knows this first hand as he is constantly working on new music or a collab for his fans to enjoy.

As for the tattoo across from the bear, Bieber has a lion over his heart which he exclaims, “The lion I got done by the tattoo artist Bang Bang, and it represents having a heart of a lion” he continues, “Being bold, courageous, strong”.
Although music is a big influence on his tattoos, Bieber’s body art also features animals. In fact, the singer and his wife, Hailey Bieber are proud pet owners to many of their own including, two Savannah Cats, and three dogs.
On March 5, Bieber shared an adorable photo on Instagram with his dog, Oscar.
