Youth to the People Releases a Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream
The Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream from Youth to the People is a moisturizer that restores, balances, and conditions all skin types. With a blend of kale, green tea, and hyaluronic acid, the product gives the skin a refreshing boost of vitamins and antioxidants and allows the skin to retain moisture.
The lightweight, air-whipped gel cream absorbs into the skin, quickly allowing it to act as a primer for makeup, and is gentle enough to be used morning and night. Additionally, mixing the moisture cream with a foundation will give the application a boost of hydration. Even though Youth to the People claims the product is friendly for all skin types, the company does recommend the Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream works best for combination and oily skin types.
The moisturizer’s proprietary superfoods include a blend of kale, spinach, and alfalfa. Rich in vitamins C, E, and K, kale is an excellent addition to a skincare routine, especially combined with the antioxidants from the green tea in the cream. Moreover, hyaluronic acid also allows the skin to retain all of the vitamins and antioxidants by acting as a shield, keeping the good stuff in and free radicals out.
Youth to the People promises the product is not tested on animals and includes 100 percent vegan ingredients and cold-pressed extracts. The product is made in the United States without parabens, phthalates, and dimethicone and comes in a recyclable package.
The philosophy behind Youth to the People encourages the company to “reach for a higher standard” by focusing on environmentally-friendly packaging, only using cruelty-free and 100% vegan ingredients, funding non-profit organizations.
The company partners with Soul Fire Farm and Lunch on Me to reduce poverty levels for women and BIPOC communities as part of their “To The People Fund.” Youth to the People also have a “To The Future Fund” and “To The Planet Fund” that support non-profits that provide “hopeful and innovative initiatives that dare to build a better, more peaceful, and equitable future for all, driven by the efforts and ideas of youth” and “science-driven initiatives that make girls, women, and BIPOC communities central to their climate change solutions.”
Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream retails for $48 on Youth to the People’s website and comes in an environmentally friendly 2.0 oz glass container.
