BLACKPINK’s Rosé Announces Release Date for ‘Gone’ Music Video With Visual Poster
K-pop girl group BLACKPINK’s soloist Rosé has confirmed the release date of the highly anticipated music video for her b-side single, “Gone.” The announcement was made through YG Entertainment’s official Twitter with an aesthetic black-and-orange teaser poster.
The music video for “Gone” is set for release on April 5. On March 31, the teaser poster for the music video was shared on YG’s Twitter account which has since accumulated over 80,000 retweets, enticing fans of the singer. The song was teased in a short 30 second clip back in January during BLACKPINK’s online concert, “THE SHOW” and was released alongside “On The Ground” on Rosé’s first solo album, R.

The teaser poster showcases a dark, mysterious, side-profile photo of Rosé in front of a background of flames, surrounded by the words “GONE 0405” and “MUSIC VIDEO RELEASE” indicating the release date of April 5.
Fans have been anticipating the music video since the release of the song and were quick to share their excitement on Twitter. The hashtag #GONEMViscoming is being spread by Blinks throughout Twitter.

The singer has also shared the teaser poster photo on her Instagram account with a short and simple caption, “April 5” to spread the news and get fans excited. The Instagram post gathered over 2 million likes in less than 13 hours. This announcement comes around the same time as Rosé hitting 2 million subscribers on her YouTube channel.
The track “Gone” was released on February 1, two months prior to the upcoming music video release. The song is a soulful pop song that follows the singer through her feelings during the aftermath of a breakup.
