BTS Drops Artistic Music Video for Japanese Song ‘Film Out’
K-pop supergroup BTS has released another aesthetically pleasing music video, this time for their newest release, “Film Out,” which is set to appear on their Japanese album BTS, The Best. The song is confirmed to be on the official soundtrack for the Japanese film Signal. It was written in a collaboration between BTS’ youngest member Jungkook and Japanese rock band Back Number’s Iyori Shimizu.
The dreamy music video for the ballad shows the seven members delicately singing along to the beautiful lyrics. Their melancholy expressions are showcased throughout. Though the lyrics are in Japanese, fans from all over the world are feeling the emotions radiated through the video. The music video was released on HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel. It reached the number two spot on YouTube’s trending category in the U.S. and has already acquired over 67 million views.
The hashtag #BTS_twt trended on Twitter following the video release, with 22.4k tweets containing the hashtag. Fans are more than excited to have a new video from the band. They are sharing their love for Jungkook and his songwriting skills as they dissect his beautifully written lyrics.

“Film Out” is the first song to be released off of the super group’s upcoming Japanese album, BTS, The Best and is one of the only new-release songs to be included in the compilation album. It is just the first of many songs to be released on the album coming June 17.
