K-pop Group EXO Announces Comeback with Spoiler Clip for New Song and Music Video
SM Entertainment’s k-pop group EXO has surprised fans with the announcement of their comeback through the release of a spoiler clip for their upcoming song and music video release. The four-minute video titled “L-1485 SPOILER” was shared with fans through YouTube. It showcased the members of the band on the set for their new music video, announcing the comeback.
This unexpected announcement comes on the band’s ninth anniversary. Fans took over Twitter to celebrate the nine long years they have spent making music. The spoiler video shared the boys talking on set around an aircraft carrier. They are featured dancing along to a snippet of the song and announcing “I hope you all stay very excited for EXO’s album.” The clip included six of the original nine members.
The spoiler video clip showed the six boys discussing the theme of the music video, where an “aircraft carrier in outer space” is involved as well as talks about the process of filming the first verse of the song prior to adding CGI. They also shared that it is band member XIUMIN and Kyungsoo’s first album after coming back from the military before ending the clip with their in-unison band chant.

According to SM Entertainment’s 2021 release schedule, the band’s album is expected to come within the first half of 2021. Though no further details about the album or its release date have been revealed, fans, who are referred to as EXO-L, are as excited as ever for the new music. With over 29,000 tweets, the phrase ‘EXO COMEBACK’ was trending at number one on Wednesday, April 7, following the announcement.
