Olivia Rodrigo Reveals Her Beauty Secrets in New Video With Vogue
Olivia Rodrigo loves to keep it fun, fresh and easy when it comes to skincare and makeup in her daily beauty routine. She stated that “less is more” when it comes to skincare. Many viewers could relate to her simple yet careful approach to taking care of her skin and applying makeup, using products from companies such as Glossier that are accessible to many. This marks the actress turned singer’s first time working with the magazine.
Beginning her routine with what every skincare fanatic will appreciate, Rodrigo washes her face with a lotion-based face cleanser. She stated that having this in her routine helped her take care of a “bad case of dermatitis” that broke out around her mouth.

Having methods to control skin flare-ups is important to the actress who has skyrocketed into the public eye following the success of her debut single “Drivers License”, which inspired many tik tok users as it went viral on the app.
Rodrigo then moves on to apply a serum to her face, along with a Gua Sha which she finds to be relaxing. She is not alone in this sentiment, This year many have discovered the magic of using a Gua Sha to de-puff and decompress. The singer states that practicing self care and alone time are important to her, and her beauty routine is a big part of this.
The singer/actress then explains her love for lip scrubs not only for their ability to prevent her lips from peeling but for their sweet taste, applying chapstick following the scrub. Rodrigo begins her actual makeup routine with B.B cream, she applies this with her fingers as applicators were previously making her skin “freak out”. She goes into her makeup application process inspired by fellow young singer Billie Ellish, who she states is always “glowing and perfect”.
Rodrigo applies the typical concealer, bronzer, highlighter and blush combination. Revealing that she did not like blush as a child but is almost obsessed with how it brightens her face now. When talking about brows, the singer discloses that she is still working on gaining confidence in how she looks and “probably still will be for a very long time.” Fans appreciate how candid the 18-year-old singer is and identify with her journey of growing into an adult.

After applying her eye makeup, a clean look using a natural eyeliner from Glossier, Rodrigo moves on to discuss what she will be putting on her lips.
