The Kid LAROI and Miley Cyrus Collaborate for ‘Without You’ Music Video

Australian-born singer The Kid LAROI has tapped Miley Cyrus to appear on a remix of his breakthrough song, “Without You.” At just seventeen years old, LAROI is writing relatable and rather mature music for his age. To enlist Cyrus in this collaboration is perfect; their vocals croon together in a beautiful way.

Although Cyrus is an impressive collaboration, LAROI has teamed up with a variety of popular stars such as the late JUICE WRLD, Machine Gun Kelly, and Justin Bieber. He appears on Bieber’s latest album Justice on the song “Unstable.” To have such big names under his belt at a young age, he is bound for continued success.

“Without You” is an emotional ballad discussing the failure of relationships. The track opens, “You cut a piece of me, and now I bleed internally.” Cyrus had wanted to be on this track; she pleaded with fans to text their exes and post what they said. The feedback was interesting, as Cyrus retweeted some of the best ones to her timeline.

LAROI spoke to Variety about what he has learned from these other celebrities in the game for so long. He says of Cyrus that she’s super cool. He draws upon a memory, “I remember when my cousins used to force me to watch ‘Hannah Montana,’ so collaborating with her was pretty cool.” Cyrus and LAROI have teased their collaboration for some time now. His first post with Cyrus goes back to a month ago, teasing the two of them in a studio.

Cyrus returned the favor, posting a photo of the two of them with the caption “Live from New York with little bro,” tagging SNL. Cyrus is set to take the SNL stage on May 8; therefore, they will be performing their remix on stage together.
