iHeartRadio Releases Star Studded Line up for This Years Award Ceremony
After a year of makeshift award shows, IHeartRadio made sure to show up and show out for this year’s IHeartRadio Awards ceremony. The May 27th award ceremony will be hosted by none other than R&B star Usher. Not only will be hosting the ceremony, but he will be performing as well.
When asked about his upcoming role Usher stated, “I’m excited to be hosting and performing during the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards… This year’s show includes an incredible lineup of exceptionally talented artists. It’s going to be a great time!”
Usher is just one of many talented performers who will be gracing the award ceremony stage. The long list of performers includes Dua Lipa, Dan + Shay, Doja Cat, Bruno Mars with Anderson. Paak and The Weeknd with Ariana Grande who will be performing “Save Your Tears” live for the first time.
Additionally, the ceremony will also include a special tribute performance by Coldplay’s Chris Martin and Lil Nas x to pay homage to Elton John. John will be presented with the 2021 Icon Award for his musical impact on society.

Speaking of nominations, on April 7th the nominees for the award ceremony were announced. The Weeknd is in the lead with eight nominations while Megan Thee Stallion and Roddy Rich are tied for seven. Harry Styles and Ariana Grande both swept up six nominations and Justin Bieber has five.

The IHeartRadio Award ceremony will take place on May 27th at 8:00 pm on FOX.
