Prince Harry and Oprah’s New Docuseries Hits AppleTv+ This Month
As the awareness for mental health continues to rise, Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey are set to launch the docuseries, The Me You Can’t See, coming this month.
Not only are Winfrey and the Duke of Sussex starring in the docuseries, but they also have a major hand in the backstage production. Harry and Winfrey are co-creators and executive producers. Catherine Cyr and Terry Wood, who are also a part of Winfrey’s Harpo Production are also producers.

The docuseries will feature Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey as they tackle mental health journeys and the well-being of their A-list guests.
Some of the A-list stars that will be featured in the docuseries include Lady Gaga, Glenn Close, DeMar DeRozan, Langston Galloway, Zak Williams, Virginia “Ginny” Fuchs, Rashad Armstead, and many more.

The overall goal of the show is to abolish the stigma surrounding mental health and letting viewers know that they are not alone. According to Apple, in order to accomplish this goal, producers called up “accredited and respected experts and organizations from around the world to help shed light on different pathways to treatment.”
In a statement about the docuseries Winfrey said, “Now more than ever, there is an immediate need to replace the shame surrounding mental health with wisdom, compassion, and honesty… Our series aims to spark that global conversation.”
Prince Harry also had a few words to say about the upcoming docuseries. In a statement regarding the docuseries, he said “The majority of us carry some form of unresolved trauma, loss, or grief, which feels—and is—very personal. Yet the last year has shown us that we are all in this together, and my hope is that this series will show there is power in vulnerability, connection in empathy, and strength in honesty.”
The Me You Can’t See premieres on May 21st exclusively on AppleTV+. The monthly subscription is $5 a month after the seven-day free trial.
