MARINA Shares Snippet of New Song ‘Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land’
MARINA has continued to tease her fifth studio album, Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land. The singer had released two singles off the upcoming album so far. MARINA began this new era with “Man’s World,” which was released last November. In April, she released “Purge the Poison,” receiving rave reviews. More recently, in early May, MARINA shared a remix of “Purge the Poison” featuring Pussy Riot. MARINA has now taken to social media to share more teasers for her exciting upcoming album.
On May 11, MARINA took to social media writing, “2 singles coming in the next month.” After fans have been loving her past two singles and remix, she has now doubled the excitement by sharing two new songs exactly one month before the album is out. On the following day, May 12, MARINA shared a photo of herself with the album’s title and next single, “Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land.” The single was released on May 19.

On May 17, MARINA shared a snippet of what is presumably her latest single, “Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land.” The video is roughly 17 seconds, where she writes in all caps, “YOU ARE NOT HERE TO CONFORM.” She inspires listeners with the opening lyrics in the video, “You don’t have to be like everybody else, You don’t have to fit into the norm.” This message encourages her listeners by saying that it is great to be different and stand out.
