Imagine Dragons received the highest honor in the recording industry with a diamond certification for their song “Believer.”

The Recording Industry Association of America promoted “Believer” by Imagine Dragons to diamond status. The song comes from their third studio album, Evolve, and takes its spot as the 46th ever to have this label. However, this is not the group’s first rodeo. “Radioactive,” another one of their hits, achieved diamond status in 2015. Having two songs be awarded such a rare title is extremely difficult and a massive feat.

Diamond certification represents 10 million units of a combined collection of sales and streaming numbers. It is the equivalent of reaching Platinum at least ten times. Imagine Dragons now has two songs topping these insane standards.

Lead singer Dan Reynolds instantly expressed his gratitude to fans on social media. Reynolds acknowledged how great of an achievement it is to reach diamond status twice, and of course, thank the fans.

Recently, Imagine Dragons released two singles, “Follow You” and “Cutthroat.” It is rumored the singles will appear on the group’s fifth studio album. Fans wait eagerly for details about new music, but until then, they can listen to the diamond-certified song “Believer.”
