Gabrielle Union Looked Stunning in Sequins at Billboard Music Awards
The 48-year-old actress and author, Gabrielle Union, dazzled in a white sleeveless gown covered in sequins at the Billboard Music Awards on May 23. She showed fans her stunning look on social media.
In her custom Prada gown was embellished with sequins and a plunging neckline, Gabrielle Union looked “Snatched,” as she described in an Instagram caption. The Ten Things I Hate About You actress confidently posed in her eloquent dress for the awards show, surrounded by pink flowers and a textured teal wall.
The Bring It On star’s gown was complemented by more than 23 carats of Bulgari jewelry. She completed the ensemble with a pink mini Prada leather tote.
Hairstylist Larry Sims gave the Shady Baby author a sleek, sophisticated high ponytail. According to his Instagram post, he used Union’s own hair products from her Flawless collection. The star was seen glammed up and smoldering for the camera. Artist Fiona Stiles did her elegant makeup, giving her a sultry smokey eye using Giorgio Armani products.
Union presented the award for Top-Selling song, which was given to South Korean boy band BTS for their hit, “Dynamite.” According to Allure, the actress jokingly told E!’s Tanya Rad on the red carpet, “I’m excited to be out of the house and putting on deodorant consistently.” Last year’s BBMA’s were mostly remote due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so Union felt enthusiastic about being able to dress up and physically attend the awards show this year.
