After a grueling two-year wait, fans will finally have the opportunity to go behind the scenes of what it was like in the lives of the Jonas Brothers. The band of brothers announced that their memoir Blood would be released on November 9, 2021.

According to the memoir’s website

“Since their formation in 2005, the Jonas Brothers have been critically adored and commercially celebrated—with over 22 million album sales, sold-out stadium tours, major film appearances, and seven performances at the White House. But behind the scenes, things weren’t always as they seemed. Now, for the first time, Kevin, Joe, and Nick will share their complete story, from their Disney days through their contentious breakup and explosive reunion.”

Blood will take a deep dive into the band’s lives by alternating perspectives of the brothers, which also includes some stories from their youngest brother Frankie. The memoir will tell the brothers’ story from childhood to now. Events like Nick’s first near-death memory as a child, to the most notable Jonas Brothers’ events, the infamous breakup, will be shared throughout the memoir.

In a snippet posted on Instagram by Joe Jonas, it reads, “I walked into that meeting like a tourist going to the beach. I kicked back on the couch, said, ‘What’s going on,’ put my feet back up. I didn’t see the tsunami coming.”

The original release date was November 12, 2019, during their Happiness Begins Tour. After consideration, the book was pushed to March 2020, then again to October 2020, and was eventually postponed indefinitely. At the time, the brothers felt that the book was not ready to be released, and they wanted to give fans the most authentic story possible.

Along with snippets of the text, the brothers wrote that they are proud of the work they put together and are finally ready for it to be released. They said on their Instagram, “We put so much of ourselves into this memoir, and it was so important for us to take the time to make sure our story was told the right way,”

Blood will be released on November 9, 2021, and fans can pre-order their copy here.
