Gossip Girl ran from 2007 to 2012. So, of course, the new generation comes with differences, mainly because of the unique landscape the author is trying to portray. But it is evident that there are numerous similarities to the classic series, especially the incredible wardrobe. Also, you can already clearly spot the new Queen B (Julien Calloway) and the new Humphery (Zoya Lott).
Particularly to spice things up, we can hear Gossip Girl saying, “There is a big secret among the ruling class at Constance Billard,” giving a sneak peek at the unfolding of the plot.
The show has a whole new cast. Hence, none of our known Upper East Siders are going to be back. Although Kristin Bell is narrating “Gossip Girl” again, and you can hear her come back on this new trailer. But the novels by Cecily von Ziegesar are also the inspiration for the new Gossip Girl.
