K-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER made their debut on Good Morning America this Thursday with “Magic,” an English track from their second studio album “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE.” With a light-up dance floor and fluid choreography, the 4th generation group once again brings an unforgettable performance this comeback season.

Lead vocalist Kang Taehyun describes the track as “a great song for the summer,” the group hoping it’s something that makes you want to “clap and dance along.”

In the lyrics of “Magic,” the song entails a story of someone afraid to fall in love again after a breakup leaves their heart “frozen.” The vocalists then harmonize to match the sensation of finding someone who has you feeling “just like magic.” The lyrics go along with the winter concept of the album, but its disco-pop sound vibes with its summer release date.

This showcase premiered a day after the group dropped a music video teaser for the said track, which is set in space with the group appearing to be fighting aliens. Maybe they’ll visit Planet HER along the way? (Yeonjun has mentioned liking Say So, Doja; fans hope you’re listening out there).

This fantasy theme doesn’t venture far from the group’s usual music videos, with previous singles like ‘Blue Hour’ set in a colorful amusement park with human-sized creatures and ‘Eternally’ being turned into a 19-minute short film holding sci-fi horror motifs.

The official music video for “Magic” will drop June 11 at midnight, with another performance of the hit single on The Late Late Show With James Corden to follow on June 14th.
