Tinashe Debuts Music Video for New Single ‘Pasadena’
R&B singer Tinashe has released her first single of the year, “Pasadena,” featuring Compton rapper Buddy. The new West Coast summer anthem was brought to life just days after dropping the new single. “Pasadena” is also the first single off the songstress’ upcoming album, 333.
R&B and dancer sensation Tinashe has returned with not only a banger but a sizzling hot music video just in time for the summer.
The new music video serves looks and summery vibes while the California native unleashes hot dance moves, showing her fans that she hasn’t lost her touch.
According to Uproxx, Tinashe said in an interview, “After the past year we have all had, I felt a very strong calling to release music that feels like joy, excitement, and freedom to contribute positive energy to the Universe. I wrote and recorded the song ‘Pasadena’ in my home in Los Angeles with a bold, bouncing tempo that makes me want to dance.”
It was also mentioned that the song itself is about growth, family, and the burst of nostalgia she feels whenever she visits her hometown. “Pasadena” was released Friday, June 4. The new hot single marks the second time Tinashe and Buddy have collaborated since Buddy’s 2020 single “Glitch.”
