BlockBerry Creative girl group LOONA is inching closer to their next comeback with the release of a recent teaser for their fourth mini-album [&], which will debut on June 28.

The teaser shows vocalist Kim Jung-Eun (known on stage as Kim Lip) in a stage setting wearing attire similar to her solo single “Eclipse.” Fans are speculating what this means for the “Loonaverse”— the lore the girls of LOONA have created through their music video storylines.

LOONA, often stylized as LOOΠΔ, translates literally to “Girl of the Month.” The group similarly debuted its members, with each girl being revealed individually alongside their album and music video.

The twelve members diverge into three sub-units: Odd Eye Circle, LOOΠΔ 1/3, and yxxy—who notably collaborated with singer/producer Grimes with Love4Eva.

The tracklist for LOONA’s [&] is a seven-track compilation, with PTT (Paint The Town) being the title track.

Fans have highly anticipated the group’s comeback as it will be the first involving eldest member Cho Ha-Seul after her brief mental health hiatus dating back to May 2019.

Haseul slowly made her way back to social media during the group’s “So What” promotional stages. She made her official return to the LOONA stage on December 29, 2020, with a teaser titled “New Moon” involving her and the other eleven members.

The concept photos for [&] have not given fans many hints, but each one gives way to aesthetics that highlight the visuals of each member.

[&] and title track’s music video will drop June 28 at 6 pm KST.
