Mexican-American singer Becky G is launching her very own makeup brand, Treslúce Beauty. She revealed that the brand’s products and stylistic details were influenced by her Latinx Heritage.

Becky G shared the news of Treslúce Beauty with her English and Spanish-speaking fans on Instagram. The singer wrote, “No puedo creer que esté escribiendo esto… 🤗🙏🏽 This Friday, June 25th my new makeup brand @treslucebeauty is launching!!!! Many of you guys know that this has been one of my biggest dreams for so long and it’s finally happening!!!! Es una bendición tener esta oportunidad de compartirlo con todos ustedes. Stay tuned, I’m gonna be sharing more soon! 🥰”

The “Mayores” singer announced that Treslúce Beauty will be available on June 25. She teased a vibrant eyeshadow palette, colorful eye pencils, voluminous false eyelashes, and makeup brushes.

The star told POPSUGAR, “Having my own makeup brand has been something that has been on my list of dreams and goals since I was very, very young. I would say since I was about 10 years old, I’ve been talking to my mom about having my own makeup brand.” When she created the products, she took inspiration from women in her life, such as her grandmother, mother, and sister.

Becky G chose the electric blue and yellow brand colors because they were different from other Latinx-owned brands that she researched. She explained, “I never saw anything that was like oomph, strong, and bold, and in your face, and loud, and proud.” She also liked the gender inclusivity of the color yellow.

The Power Rangers actress channeled her appreciation for her culture into her brand. “Something about our culture that I love so much is that sharing is caring. We not only share our food, and our drinks, and our music, and our homes, but I also want Treslúce to be something that we share, too.”

Becky G explained that her goal with Treslúce was to have more Latinx representation. “Our intent is to create a platform with this brand to be able to elevate the voices and the stories of other Latinx faces. I want to show young Latinas that they can be businesswomen too, and that age is nothing but a number. Growing up in an industry like this, I feel like I’m a cat that’s on seven of her nine lives.”

Fans showed their excitement for the upcoming makeup brand on Twitter.
