New Music Video ‘Mon Soleil’ by Anitta and Dadju Out Now
New music is out, and this time Brazilian singer Anitta and French singer Dadju join forces for a brand-new French music video titled “Mon Soleil” (My Sun). Get ready to put your French-speaking skills to the test by listening to this catchy single.
The ‘Girl From Rio” singer posted a snippet of the new music video on her Instagram page, which received over one million views. Anitta used her French skills in writing the caption for the post, saying, “la vidéo de mon soleil avec @dadju est disponible” (the video of My Sun with Dadju is available).
Using a reggaetón rhythm, the pair sings about love and relationships in French. In English, the chorus translates to, Let’s go, my sunshine/Let’s have fun day and night without thinking about sleep/Let’s go, my sun / We will taste life, as a starter, main course, dessert / Let’s go, my sun”.
Anitta is known to be able to sing many different songs in multiple languages. For instance, she recently released a single with Puerto Rican singer Lunay, titled “Todo O Nada” (Everything or Nothing), in which the pair sings about love and relationships.
‘Mon Soleil” sparked lots of love and support from fans all over the world. Fans commented on a photo of the two artists using lots of heart and heart-eyed emojis.
The new music video was released on YouTube this past week and has already reached 6.2 million views, over 150,000 likes, and 14,000+ comments. The video was directed by filmmaker Alexinho Mougeolle and is provided to YouTube by Universal Music Group.
