Louis Vuitton Hosts Stunning Events at Paris Haute Couture Week
Louis Vuitton hosted spectacular events during Paris Haute Couture Week in Monte Carlo and Paris, with a sparkling comeback to in-person events.
The first stop was in Monte Carlo, where Louis Vuitton hosted a unique event to celebrate their latest fine jewelry collection by Francesca Amfitheatrof. Later, in the French capital, they celebrated the perfume legend Frank Gehry.

For the celebration, Louis Vuitton had an exclusive fashion show during their event in Monte Carlo. Vogue’s writer, Hamish Bowles, divulged his experience with the comeback of in-person fashion shows. So, he described, “We had a firework show of our own as a parade of models, dressed in black or ivory satin evening dresses, swept past wearing pieces from the new collection.”
Moreover, a year after their initiative with genderless jewelry collection, the brand launched their jewelry line Bravery in Monaco on July 2. Undoubtedly, the pieces are an expression of the Louis Vuitton aesthetic.
So, Bowles also experienced a first-hand tour of Francesca Amfitheatrof’s latest collection, called Bravery; she is Louis Vuitton’s artistic director for jewelry and watches. The visit took place at the Hotel de Paris, where Amfitheatrof exhibits the pieces, as it is not available for purchase. Hence, the creative director used Vuitton’s patented star-cut diamonds for the collection, and a mesh of rubies in the La Passion necklace.

“Driven by his curiosity about the world, he embarked on that incredible journey across France. That’s why we have named this collection Bravery. It’s not a word often used in High Jewellery! Yet these notions of determination and adventure are intrinsic to Louis Vuitton, and we wanted to express them through this collection,” said Amfitheatrof.
Then, the celebrations moved to the streets of Paris. The festival was in honor of Frank Gehry, who at 92 has designed his first perfume bottle for the brand. His known perfume collection for the mansion is the Jacques Cavallier Belletrud’s Les Extraits collection.
So, the event took place in the Fondation Louis Vuitton, with the most elegant decor. For the table decoration, there was a different historic Sevres porcelain service and beautiful flowers. Also, French chefs Jean-Louis Nomicos and Arnaud Donckele created a menu with each course intended to imitate Gehry’s fragrances.
To make the night even more memorable, Katy Perry performed “Firework.” Overall, that was an excellent ending for the celebration in the City of Light.
