Warner Bros. Released New Character Posters for Upcoming Movie ‘Dune’
On July 19, Warner Bros. released eight unique character posters for the highly-anticipated movie Dune. The characters include Paul, Chani, Duke Leto, Gurney, Stilgar, Lady Jessica, Duncan Idaho, and The Baron.

In each poster, the main actors are spotlighted for their role in the upcoming movie. The serious and dramatic posters reveal Timothée Chalamet as Paul, Zendaya as Chani, Oscar Isaac as Duke Leto, James Brolin as Gurney, Javier Bardem as Stilgar, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho, and Stellan Skarsgård as The Baron. Aside from the photos, the posters also have text for the character’s names and details at the bottom of the movie release date.

Recently, IMAX announced an exclusive event for the fantasy movie. On July 21 and 22, fans will have a chance to watch never-before-seen footage and listen to music from the movie at select theaters. Despite many fans being able to grab tickets, the seating is on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Giving insight into the 2021 movie, the trailer for Dune follows Paul’s main character as he gains incredible powers, discusses family problems, and shares a near kiss with Chani. Near the end of the trailer, Paul powerfully states, “Fear is the mind-killer,” a famous line from the novel.
I must admit I was not so hyped about the Dune movie up until now but these character posters… my, my, this looks like a must watch.

The movie Dune is an adaptation of Frank Herbert’s influential 1965 science fiction novel of the same title. According to Empire, the original tale is about “exploitation and control of resources, with the sand-swirling planet Arrakis being the home of ‘spice,’ the universe’s most sought-after substance.”
