Besides the four-time Emmy nominated show, I May Destroy You, Coel has starred in many TV shows and movies. Chewing Gum, Black Rising Earth, and Black Mirror are just a few productions she’s starred in. The actress even made a cameo in Disney’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi. In addition to acting, Coel writes, directs, and produces. She even helped create the show Chewing Gum.

Furthermore, fans wondered how the movie would go on without T’Challa. Fortunately,  Marvel doesn’t intend to replace Chadwick Boseman, who lost his battle with colon cancer in August 2020 at the age of 43. The studios don’t plan to recreate him digitally.

“It’s clearly very emotional without Chad,” Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige said in an interview in June, “But everyone is also very excited to bring the world of Wakanda back to the public and back to the fans. We’re going to do it in a way that would make Chad proud.”

While the details are being kept hush-hushed,  Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba, and Angela Bassett might be returning for the film. Production is being done in Atlanta, and Ryan Coogler will be directing the screenplay. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters on July 8, 2022. While fans wait for more details, fans can stream the first Black Panther movie on Disney+.
