DaBaby Dropped From Music Festivals After His Homophobic Comments
DaBaby was supposed to perform at the Lollapalooza, but the music festival canceled the rapper’s performance on Sunday, after that, many festivals followed their response and canceled his performance. All of this results from the rapper’s insulting comments about gay men and people with HIV at the Rolling Loud music festival.
Rapper DaBaby was scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza’s closing night but was cut from the lineup due to his homophobic comments last week at a Miami music festival called Rolling Loud.

The organizers for the Chicago festival sent out a statement on Twitter. They claim that the rapper’s remarks are contrary to the festival’s spirit. The tweet added that Young Thug will perform at 9:00 p.m. instead, and G Herbo will take the 4:00 p.m performance.
“Lollapalooza was founded on diversity, inclusivity, respect, and love. With that in mind, DaBaby will no longer be performing at Grant Park tonight,” the statement said.

Next, after Lollapalooza took DaBaby off their lineup, Governors Ball canceled the rapper’s performance on September 4. In a statement on Twitter, the festival shared that “Founders Entertainment does not and will not tolerate hate or discrimination of any kind.”
