Halsey Shares a Glimpse of Postpartum Life and Stretch Marks

Weeks after giving birth, Halsey displays their postpartum stretch marks as she posts a series of photos documenting their journey as a new parent. The singer is as realistic as possible when showing her experience, and for that, she received a lot of loving comments.

Halsey and partner Alev Aydin welcomed their child, Ender Ridley, on July 14. Since then, she gives glimpses of their new life as a parent on her social media. And, in a series of Instagram photos on Aug 8, she posted their belly with stretch marks from the pregnancy, as well as a “Baby” tattoo placed just above the pelvis.

She wrote as a caption: “Well…this is what it look like.”

Halsey’s followers praised the first-time mom for being open about what a postpartum body looks like in real life.
“Wear those tiger stripes proud, mama. Love to see it,” wrote one fan. Followed by another supporting comment, “THANK YOU FOR POSTING YOUR STRETCH MARKS.”

The supportive comments are in honor of her transparency. And people are relating to her situation. “Nice to see a real mom, not someone explaining that you must have a six-pack two days after giving a birth.” Another fan expressed her content, “I love love love that you posted your cute little stretch marks. I’m 31 weeks pregnant, and I keep getting paranoid I’ll get them and having to remind myself it doesn’t matter.”

Besides their belly, the singer showed the baby’s cutest nursery. A fan questioned where she got the decoration for the nursery, and Halsey replied, “Honestly? TARGET.”

The series of photos had to include some with baby Ender. Halsey shared a little peek of the baby stretching and another one with the newborn and their boyfriend and baby father, Alev, all cozy with Endor.

Moreover, she tries to be very natural with their new journey. In a previous post, she shared a photo with their child breastfeeding outside in honor of breastfeeding week. In the caption, she wrote, “#worldbreastfeedingweek we arrived just in time!”

The singer tries to keep their family safe and shares many secretive photos. So, she recently divulged in an interview with Allure that, “I signed up to give my whole life away; my loved ones didn’t.”
