The Morning Show stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, who also executive produce the series. Fans of the show are left watching the aftermath of Alex Levy (Aniston) and Bradley Jackson’s (Witherspoon) explosive actions of exposing their network’s toxic workplace culture on-air. The Morning Show network is also forced with new challenges, such as navigating the coronavirus pandemic.

Along with A-listers Aniston and Witherspoon, The Morning Show has a stacked celebrity casting line-up. Steve Carell, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, Janina Gavankar, Tom Irwin, and Marcia Gay Harden are all returning for the sophomore run of the series. There have also been newer faces added to the mix this upcoming season: stars Greta Lee, Ruairi O’Connor, Hasan Minhaj, Holland Taylor, Tara Karsian, Valeria Golino, and Julianna Margulies are all joining the talented cast.

Lee will be portraying Stella Bak, a tech wunderkind who joins the UBA executive team. O’Connor is cast as Ty Fitzgerald, an intelligent and charismatic YouTube star. Minhaj is Eric Nomani, who serves as the newest member of The Morning Show team. Taylor is Cybil Richards, the savvy chairwoman to the UBA board. Karsian is Gayle Berman, the news producer; Golino is Paola Lambruschini, a documentary filmamker. Lastly, ER alum Julianna Margulies is Laura Peterson, a UBA news anchor.

In The Morning Show’s epic first season, Billy Crudup picked up an Emmy Award for Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category and a Critics Choice Award for his role as Cory Ellison. Aniston’s portrayal as Alex Levy earned her a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series. The series also received nominations from the Television Critics Association for Outstanding New Program and a TV Choice Award for Best New Drama.
