Nicole Kidman Stomps Grapes in Brand New First Look into ‘Being The Ricardos’
It’s been a long time coming I Love Lucy fans get a biopic of one of the most iconic TV personalities of all time. Being The Ricardos will be bringing more color to the story of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, and the first sneak peek finally dropped.
As the trailer unfolds, expect jolts of nostalgia as one of Ball’s most iconic scenes is featured and played by Nine Perfect Strangers star Nicole Kidman. Kidman is seen reenacting the 1956 episode, “Lucy’s Italian Movie,” where the legendary TV star was seen initially hilariously stomping grapes.
Furthermore, fans should remember that Being The Ricardos is much more than an I Love Lucy remake. It will also follow Lucy and Desi’s relationship, marriage, and journey to stardom. Directed and written by Aaron Sorkin, the fresh glimpse arrives shortly after Kidman discussed the biopic with Spiral star Chris Rock for Variety’s Actors on Actors interview.

According to CNN, Ball and Arnaz’s daughter, Lucie Arnaz, has happily endorsed Kidman’s portrayal. She stated:
“Nicole Kidman became my mother’s soul. She crawled into her head, I don’t know how you do that. She cared very deeply about this part. It shows.”
