FKA Twigs Releases Music Video to ‘Measure of a Man’

On November 29, FKA Twigs shared her latest music video for “Measure of a Man,” featuring Central Cee. This song serves as part of the soundtrack to Century Studio’s feature film, The King’s Man.

FKA Twigs began teasing her collaboration with the rapper on November 11. She posted a photo of the two together with the caption, “measure of a man. 18th nov. 2021.”

One week later on, November 18, Twigs revealed that the single was out. Fans would not have to wait too long for a music video, but it was well worth the wait. Diana Kunst directed the “Measure of a Man” music video, which opens with Twigs drawing in viewers through a projector screen with sultry vocals and mesmerizing choreography. This is no surprise to fans, as Twigs’ performance art is always connected to her music.

In a statement, the singer spoke of the challenges “Measure of a Man” posed. She reveals, “This song has such a different sound, which is a challenge, you’ve got to really embody the song. For me especially with my vocals, I had to pull a different side of my artistry out.” She effortlessly navigates through these challenges, wowing audiences with her dance moves and sword tricks.

The King’s Man is an upcoming period action spy film set for release on December 22. The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn and stars Gemma Arterton, Taron Egerton, Ralph Fiennes, Colin Firth, Stanley Tucci, and others.
