BTS Surprises Fans With Guest Appearance From Megan Thee Stallion
As BTS’ four-day concert series rages on, it is hard to forget the surprise they gave their fans as they performed the “Butter” remix for the first time before a live audience. Out came Megan Thee Stallion in bright pink attire, matching the boys’ concert wear. While she strutted down the stage, fans could not take their eyes off of her. Many soon revealed to the world their reaction to the appearance on all social media sites, specifically Twitter and Instagram, where many K-pop fans reside.
When the group first announced their LA concert, tickets sold out immediately. Concert attendees waited months for the day to arrive, and the group arrived at SoFi Stadium this past Saturday, November 28, to deliver the show. “The Permission to Dance Tour,” named after the song of the same title, entertained tens of thousands of Army who were anxiously waiting to see BTS again. The boys had not performed before such a large audience since their “Love Yourself Speak Yourself World Tour” in 2019.

BTS released two English singles in 2021, “Butter” and “Permission to Dance,” both of which had never been performed at a live concert before. Megan Thee Stallion collaborated with the group on the first single, “Butter,” which was released in August. Her version gained a lot of traction among the Army, all of whom were not expecting her to show up at the concert.
Amidst a two-hour setlist that included iconic tracks such as “Blood Sweat & Tears,” “I NEED U,” and “Spring Day,” with many other amazing b-sides sprinkled in between, Megan popped out from the main stage. While she rapped, she slowly made her way down the aisle to meet the boys. As soon as her face appeared on the large screen, the crowd erupted in excited screams and trembling cheers. If seeing one global superstar wasn’t enough, they were not presented with two.
As per usual, the group delivered with their smooth dance moves and stellar performing abilities. BTS fails to disappoint, and even after coming back from a two-year tour hiatus, they put on a fantastic show. Videos taken from Saturday and Sunday’s shows began, and continue, to trend online. They will continue with their last two concerts this week on December 1 and 2.
