Following the news of his death, fellow comedians and co-stars came out to share their fond memories of Saget. Fellow Full House alumni took to social media to share their love for the late comedian.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who played the youngest daughter Michelle Tanner on Full House, expressed their sadness over Saget’s sudden passing in a statement to People Magazine; “Bob was the most loving, compassionate and generous man. We are deeply saddened that he is no longer with us but know that he will continue to be by our side to guide us as gracefully as he always has. We are thinking of his daughters, wife, and family and are sending our condolences.”
His family released the following statement, “He was everything to us, and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.”
Just before his passing, Saget performed in Florida on a stop in his comedy tour, I Don’t Do Negative. In addition to reprising his role as Tanner for the series reboot Fuller House (2016-2020), he also narrated How I Met Your Mother as the older version of Ted Mosby from 2005-2014. Additionally, he was the first host of America’s Funniest Home Videos and continued that role periodically from 1989-2019.
I am broken. I am gutted. I am in complete and utter shock. I will never ever have another friend like him. I love you so much Bobby.

Beautiful Bob Saget passed away today at 65. He had a big, big heart and a wonderfully warped comic mind. He gave the world a lot of joy and lived his life for goodness’ sake. :’^} pic.twitter.com/QVSITsfaVj
