Harry Styles to Headline Coachella 2022
Harry Styles will take the stage in Indio, California, as one of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’s three headliners. His performances will occur on Friday, April 15 and 22, with fellow artists Billie Eilish and Ye (formerly Kanye West) to follow on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Styles is known for his run in the mega-successful boy band, One Direction. After the unexpected departure of member Zayn Malik, the group made a final album, Made in the A.M., before announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2015.

In 2017, Styles made his solo debut with his self-titled album, Harry Styles. Leaning into the rock genre, the LP was met with critical acclaim. Fine Line, his 2019 sophomore album, was also met with positive reviews. In 2020, Styles won his first Grammy Award for the upbeat single “Watermelon Sugar” from the same record. He wrapped his 42-show Love On Tour, his tour of Fine Line, in November 2021.

Styles is also working on his film career. After appearing in war drama Dunkirk in 2017, he was cast in Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling, set to premiere in 2022. His credits include Eternals (2021) and My Policeman, which have yet to announce a premiere.
The anticipated return of Coachella comes after the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the festival for two consecutive years. Frank Ocean, an initial headliner of the 2020 festival, will headline in 2023.
