Andrew Burnap Added to Cast of Live-Action, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Disney just announced that they will be making a new live-action movie: a retelling of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs (1938).

Andrew Burnap is set to appear in the live-action Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs. As for his role, Burnap will take a lead role alongside co-stars Rachel Zegler (Snow White) and Gal Gadot (Evil Queen).

Burnap has worked in several productions, including The Inheritance. He received a Tony Award, amongst other works like The Legend of GeorgieThis Day ForwardUnder the Banner of Heaven.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Gal Gadot expressed her excitement for her role as the villain. “I cannot wait to get into her shoes and stand in front of the mirror.”

Zegler also shared a tweet letting fans know of her exciting experience as the original Disney princess.

Alongside this star-studded cast, Marc Platt, who produced Legally Blonde and Into The Woods, will produce the new remake.

Not to mention, no Disney movie goes without a fabulous soundtrack. Composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, known for their work in Trolls, The Greatest Showman, and La La Land, will be writing songs for the live-action.

Though Disney has not announced a release date for the new movie, production is scheduled to start in the spring. You can stream the original Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs on Disney+ until then.
