New Season of Raising Dion Coming Soon
Netflix’s original series Raising Dion is expected to drop its second season on February 1. The trailer already has fans anticipating new characters, allies, and enemies.
Raising Dion is based on Dennis Liu’s comics and short film produced by Michael B. Jordan. As you may remember in season 1, widowed mother Nicole Warren (Alisha Wainwright) finds out that her son, Dion, has powers from his late father, Mark Warren (Michael B. Jordan). With the help of her late husband’s best friend, Pat (Jason Ritter), Dion learns how to control his power. Dion’s powers are later possessed by the main antagonists, The Crooked Man.

We can expect to see Dion not only growing as a young superhero but also growing out of childhood. Parade Magazine shares an unofficial synopsis of season 2 of Raising Dion, “With the support of his mom and Tevin (who is also a new love interest for Nicole this season) Dion can pay close attention to his ever-evolving powers and learn how to use them. As Dion navigates through school and life every day, he [befriends] new student Brayden- a fellow powered kids, unknowingly opening the door to a whole new world of trouble and unexpected twists and turn.”
