It looks like we’ll see Adele perform sooner than we think. In an Instagram post early Tuesday, Adele announced that she’d be performing at the BRIT Awards on February 8.

There was growing speculation surrounding whether her performance was falling through, and rumor has it she was on the verge of canceling. But fear not, the 33-year old pop singer was not having any of that tittle-tattle after she confirmed she would, in fact, be performing.

In her caption, she writes, “Hiya, so I’m really happy to say that I am performing at the Brits next week!! Anddddd I’ll also be popping in to see Graham for a chat on the couch while I’m in town too! I’m looking forward to it!”

She throws some shade at the publications perpetuating break-up rumors with her partner, Rich Paul. She concludes her sassy message by saying, “Oh, and Rich sends his love ♥️” It’s safe to say that gossip can be put to rest.

In just January, the “Hello” songstress had to cancel her highly anticipated Vegas residency a day before her first performance due to Covid restrictions. But the Grammy-winning singer isn’t letting this setback get her down as she prepares to sing her heart out next Tuesday, and fans can’t contain their excitement.

Adele is also nominated in four categories at the Brit Awards, including “Best Artist” and “Best Album.” It’s unknown what songs Adele can sing, but we can only hope she’ll perform a medley of some songs from her latest album, 30, along with some fan favorites.

The Brit Awards will premiere on February 8 at 9 pm GMT or 3 pm EST. Until then, you can listen to 30 on all streaming platforms.
