Naomi Campbell and Her Daughter Grace the New Cover of British Vogue
Supermodel Naomi Campbell is giving fans a glimpse into her new favorite role: Motherhood. Naomi appears on the cover of British Vogue‘s March issue with her adorable 9-month-old.
The iconic supermodel, Naomi Campbell, has posed for the first time with her daughter for British Vogue. Naomi is photographed by Steven Meisel in a series of legendary shots. Naomi opens up about loving her new role being a mother to her greatest blessing.
The veteran supermodel announced the birth of her first child in a surprise post back in May. She shared a sweet photo of her daughter’s tiny feet fitting in the palm of her hand. Naomi writes in an emotional tribute, “A beautiful little blessing has chosen to be her mother, so honoured to have this gentle soul in my life. There are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you, my angel. There is no greater love.”

Naomi became a first-time mom at age 50. The exact details of her daughter’s birth, including her name, are unknown; however, she revealed to British Vogue, “She wasn’t adopted – she’s my child.” She decides that more details about her daughter’s arrival will be revealed in her book that she has yet to start writing.
The model always knew that she would become a mother. She spoke to Evening Standard in May 2017, four years before becoming a mother. She told the publication, “I think about having children all the time. But now with the way science is I think I can do it when I want.” Many have found her new role in motherhood inspiring.

Steven Meisel, who photographed Naomi and her daughter for the March cover, is family to her. The pair met in December 1986 when she was just 16. Despite being close friends and collaborators after all these years, the model admits to feeling nervous during the issue. She reveals, “I’m so focused on becoming something else, something new in his eyes, to understand his direction and be one hundred percent present.” The end results are nothing short of breathtaking.
