Teen Wolf: The Movie to Be Released on Paramount+
Teen Wolf: The Movie will include Tyler Posey reprising his role as Scott McCall, but notable absences include Dylan O’Brien as Stiles Stilinski.
Teen Wolf aired on MTV from 2011 to 2017. The series followed the life of high-schooler Scott and his friends after his life was turned upside down after he was bitten by a werewolf. Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, Holland Roden as Lydia Martin, and Shelley Hennig as Malia Tate are all reprising their roles as members of the core friend group.

The description of Teen Wolf: The Movie reads, “The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of banshees, were coyotes, hellhounds, kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf-like Scott McCall (Posey), no longer a teenager yet still an alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.”

Arden Cho is also not returning for the revival as Kira Yukimura, after reportedly being offered half the salary of the other regular female cast members. She is the only woman of color in the group and was a series regular in seasons 4 and 5 after recurring during season 3.

President of MTV Entertainment Studios Chris McCarthy stated, “Teen Wolf was a global cultural phenomenon that spawned one of the largest and most loyal fandoms – we are thrilled to partner with the incredibly talented Jeff Davis to reward the fans, reignite this franchise with an original movie, and launch a brand new series Wolf Pack for Paramount+”.
The film is to release on the Paramount+ platform in 2022.
