Reese Witherspoon to Adapt ‘World of Women’ NFTs Into Entertainment
Reese Witherspoon’s production company, Hello Sunshine, will adapt World of Women NFTs into movies and shows. The company announced this week they will be collaborating with World of Women to “create a beautiful, diverse, and empowering collection and thriving community.”
We’re so excited to announce our partnership with @worldofwomennft to build out the WoW character universe and franchise! Together, we’re on a mission to change the narrative for women in the #NFT space. 🙌 https://t.co/DI30aCChPG

World of Women is an organization that will mainly feature NFTs (non-fungible tokens) based on artwork created by women. NFTs are a form of cryptocurrency that represents digital art. Hello Sunshine intends to pull from the World of Women character universe and franchise into TV shows and movies. While cryptocurrency and NFTs are typically male-dominated industries, Hello Sunshine and World of Women aim to educate women in this field.
Reese Witherspoon has already been such a huge advocate for women in the NFT space. This collab is HUGE and I absolutely love it! https://t.co/k4SZrC1x1Q

“While the crypto and NFT space is largely dominated by men, there are inspiring leaders like World of Women creating incredible communities for women during this massive shift for media and technology,” Reese Witherspoon stated during an interview with Variety. “We’re proud to partner with WoW to expand their universe of characters and to develop innovative scripted and unscripted content. We look forward to engaging with the remarkable WoW community at every step of this partnership and creating opportunities for WoW holders to work collaboratively with Hello Sunshine on transforming the WoW art into powerful stories.”
Congratulations to @worldofwomennft @YKarkai and their excellent team. Kudos to @ReeseW in seeing the potential in not only #WoW but being a vocal advocate for all women led projects in the NFT space. Shifts and changes happen one win at a time! 🤘🏼https://t.co/tFKJk1GoOs

Hello Sunshine and World of Women’s aim is to promote art and work by women. Witherspoon has always been vocal about women’s role in the NFT arena tweeting, “Just bought my first NFTs! I’m learning so much! Would love to know about amazing women creating NFTs. Talk to me.” Witherspoon isn’t the only female celebrity to have dived into the world of crypto. Supermodel Cara Delevingne made an NFT out of a video of herself reading a poem dedicated to her vagina. “Shinigami Eyes” singer Grimes created digital art as an NFT, her highest-selling piece being “Death of the Old.”
