Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens’ Adorable Reunion at the SAG Awards
Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens gave fans waves of nostalgia after their reunion at the SAG Awards. The Disney darlings were all smiles when they saw each other.

As fans can recall, Gomez played Alex Russo in Wizards of Waverly Place and Hudgens as Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical trilogy. In addition to having popular franchises, Gomez and Hudgens both guest-starred on the beloved Disney show, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. After their Disney days, the friends reunited to film the crime drama film Spring Breakers.

Gomez and Hudgens’ friendship is more than just from being Disney’s child stars. The stars have a history of confiding in each other and helping the other out. In 2015, rumors speculated that Gomez was avoiding ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber at The Met Gala. When Hudgens was asked by Andy Cohen during an interview on Watch What Happens Live about Gomez and Bieber at the met Gala, Hudgens had her back.

“She’s one of my best friends and you just want to have your girlfriend’s back, so that’s what I did. We didn’t, like, try to avoid him or anything. I mean, no one really wants to see your ex-boyfriend,” Hudgens told Cohen.
In addition to having each other’s back, Gomez and Hudgens have supported each other through their endeavors. In 2015, Hudgens auditioned for a role in the broadway musical Gigi. Gomez posted on Instagram her love and support for her dear friend: “Missing and loving my big sissy @vanessahudgens as she dominates Broadway. I remember watching tv and looking up to her, now I’m supporting her from across the country, kind of surreal. -GO CHECK IT OUT NYC.”
