For fans of the SNL heartthrob, your day just got a whole lot better. Davidson has a new acting endeavor on his hands, and it sounds like an exciting project. In a statement, Bupkis is depicted as a “raw, unflinching, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson’s real life. It will include a mixture of grounded storytelling with absurd elements depicting an unfiltered view through Pete’s eyes.”

Bupkis, although without a single episode or release date in sight, is already being compared to Larry David’s hit show, Curb Your Enthusiasm. His series has provided comfort to millions around the world. David, Seinfeld co-creator, began Curb Your Enthusiasm back in 2000. The series features an embellished version of David’s life. Furthermore, it currently has 11 seasons and is best known for its epic celebrity cameos.

Davidson has been a part of the SNL cast since 2014. After being one of the youngest members of the iconic show, he has gone on to have a blossoming film career. He was praised for his performances in Big Time Adolescence (2019) and The King of Staten Island, a film he co-wrote and starred in based on his own life.

He can also be found in films The Dirt and on the big screen of James Gunn’s sequel to The Suicide Squad. In addition to his hectic film schedule, he is starring in the rom-com Meet Cute, opposite Kaley Cuoco. Davidson was also tapped to star as famous punk-rocker Joey Ramone of The Ramones.

We cannot wait to see Pete Davidson’s Bupkis come to life. While we wait for the A-list talent ensemble cast of Bupkis, fans can stream Davidson’s film credits on Hulu.
