Leona Lewis Announces She Is Expecting Her First Baby
Leona Lewis is going to be a mom by this summer. On Wednesday, March 23, the “Bleeding Love” singer took to Instagram to share the happy news: she is expecting her first child with her husband, Dennis Jauch.
Lewis’ stunning photograph shows the British singer glowing, wearing a big smile in a black sweater dress that hugged her growing baby bump. Her post simply reads, “Can’t wait to meet you in the Summer.”
Lewis’ husband uploaded the same image to his Instagram, writing, “Biggest gift I could’ve asked for coming this Summer. You’re one hot a** Mama.”
The couple met back in 2010 while he was performing as a backup singer on Lewis’ “The Labyrinth” tour. He popped the question in San Juan shortly after celebrating their eighth anniversary. He posted a photo collage of the couple and a sweet message to his then-fiancée, stating, “It’s been the most beautiful 8 years of my life with this incredible human being. Here’s to many more beautiful memories.”
After their engagement, Lewis told People about their romance, revealing, “It’s amazing that we were brought together from different sides of the world through both of our passions, music, and dance, whilst on tour in the U.K. eight years ago.”
Lewis and Jauch went on and tied the knot in Tuscany, Italy, in July 2019. Although the couple is expecting their first human child, Lewis is a devoted working mama to her fur babies.
We cannot be more excited for Leona Lewis to enter this next stage of her life: motherhood. Congratulations to the happy couple.
