Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley Glammed up in Beautiful Bronze Bodice
Simone Ashley attended the 2022 Met Gala in a glamorous two-piece ensemble that perfectly fit the “gilded glamour” dress code. The Bridgerton star’s dress is inspired by the show’s aesthetic itself. Stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray put together her stunning outfit.
Ashley, who plays Kat Sharma in Bridgerton’s famous season two, arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a dress of opulent luxury. She was dressed by Corbin-Murray, who also helped design Gemma Chan’s 2022 Met Gala outfit. The Crazy Rich Asians star wore a black dress with dazzling silver pieces. This year was Ashley’s first Met Gala event, and she came to the red carpet strong with her amazing bronze and black attire.
The British actress donned a gold-speckled bodice that Corbin-Murray paired with a high-waisted, floor-length black satin skirt. Ashley also sported a black satin shawl that matched her pitch-black skirt perfectly. She wore a massive black bow in the back by Moschino as the final touch. To juxtapose the colors of her outfit, Ashley rocked dazzling diamond earrings and a sparkly choker by De Beers. The outfit ties amazingly together, and she looks glamorous.
Not only does Ashley look like she came straight out of the scenes of Bridgerton, but she also rocked the “wet hair” trend. Her hair was slicked back in a clean ponytail with a black bow. She paired her ensemble with minimal, warm-toned makeup. Fans have been in love with Ashley’s iconic outfit and called her the “gilded lady.”
