Harry Styles Helps Fan Come Out as Gay at Wembley Concert

CBS/ Terence Patrick

On Sunday at London’s Wembley Stadium, Harry Styles took a break from his concert after he saw a sign with the message “From Ono to Wembley: Help me come out”. The star happily helped his fan make his dreams come true in front of the sold-out crowd.

He grabbed a Pride flag by his feet and declared: “When this flag goes above my head, you are officially out. I think that’s how it works. When this sign goes over the head, you’re officially gay, my boy.”

After running across the stage to his band’s drumbeat, Harry pretended to raise the flag and even joked, “Nope, still straight”, building up anticipation. He then threw his head back and raised the flag and announced: “Congratulations Mattia, you are a free man!”

As he raised the flag above his head, the chart-topper singer seemed overwhelmed with the honor and closed his eyes to appreciate the crowd’s cheer. He showed his gratitude towards the fans by tweeting, “Wembley, last night was one of my favourite shows we’ve ever played. I don’t know where to begin thanking you, I’m completely overwhelmed.”

The “Watermelon Sugar” singer’s former One Direction bandmate, Niall Horan was spotted in the crowd with his girlfriend Amelia Woolley. The 28-year-old star wore a big smile watching Styles perform One Direction’s debut song “What Makes You Beautiful” and was also spotted hugging Style’s sister, Gemma Styles.

His ‘Love On Tour’ continues throughout Europe to New York City, Texas, Austin, and Los Angeles. Fans can stream Style’s music on all music platforms
