TWICE Will Return With New Mini-Album BETWEEN 1&2
K-pop group TWICE announced their return with a new mini-album BETWEEN 1&2, to be released on August 26.
The renowned nine-member girl group is loved by fans across the world and has consistently been releasing stellar music since their debut in 2015 with the track “Like Ooh-Ahh.” Since their last Korean comeback, Formula of Love: O+T=<3, they have been working on promoting their Japanese music, and leader Nayeon debuted with the stellar EP IM NAYEON.
Over the past seven years, the girls have come out with ten mini-albums, each with its own color and personality. Although TWICE has been absent from the music scene for eight months now, they embarked on other group activities, notably their fourth world tour, “III,” which concluded in May 2022. So far, the group has only dropped news of their comeback but is expected to disclose its concept soon — most likely aligning with the mini-album’s slogan “Tell Me What You Want.”

TWICE consists of members Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. They were formed through the JYP survival series SIXTEEN and have been a powerhouse since their earliest days. Recently, the group has vowed to continue making music together after renewing their contract with JYP Entertainment last week.
The company proclaimed that, “TWICE, who have played a major role in establishing the status and prestige of K-pop Entertainment company JYP and the company, who have been a source of support for TWICE’s growth and development as a representative girl group, agreed to renew contracts with each other based on this mutual trust.” Furthermore, JYP’s expansion into the U.S. market through their new North American subsidiary (JYP USA) will perhaps launch TWICE and other groups under the company into even greater stardom with the international branch at their disposal.
