Lily Collins, participant in the We Are Silent movement, explains to fans that even silence can make a difference in someone’s life.We Are Silent fundraises for Adopt a Village, a program committed to relieve communities that are in need of education, health care, and sustenance, and helping them to avoid poverty forever. Participants remain silent for an hour or hours at a time, raising money for each hour they go without speaking. This silence represents the fact that the children within these communities are being silenced by the rights withheld from them. Lily took the opportunity to share a beautiful aspect of nature, a heart-shaped leaf, on Instagram, symbolizing the love she has for these individuals. She asks that her followers share their hearts and stand with her on behalf of those in need.
