The new season of Dancing With the Stars is just around the corner, and so far, we’ve seen a series makeover worthy of a mirrorball trophy. Over the past few weeks, the show has dropped exciting teasers, with fans counting down the days until the season 31 premiere.

In the first teaser, the series’s social media emphasizes the move from ABC to Disney+ with a promo that combines classic Disney movies with clips of showstopping pieces as the streaming service invites users to “make your heart dance in a whole new way.”

In the first teaser, the series’s social media emphasizes the move from ABC to Disney+ with a promo that combines classic Disney movies with clips of showstopping pieces as the streaming service invites users to “make your heart dance in a whole new way.”

A week later, fans got their confirmation of the first set of pros set to make their return this season. The teaser features reining champ Daniella Karagach, Pasha Pashkova, Witney Carson, Cheryl Burke, Artem Chigvintsev, and Brandon Armstrong. Keeping in line with the Disney theme, they encourage viewers to welcome that magic into their homes.

On the same day, the new poster was released featuring the same pros from the promo, and fans were thrilled to see the pros featured once again.

In the final trailer, viewers get a quick glimpse of the past 30 seasons that have captured the hearts of fans with pieces like Bindi Irwin’s emotional tribute to her father, Jordan Fisher’s Disney Night foxtrot, and new co-host Alfonso Ribiero’s paso doble. Ideally, they hope to hold on to their current fanbase while catering to a new generation of viewers.

Just in case trailers weren’t enough to get fans excited, it was also announced that DWTS would participate in Disney+ Day with the special, Dancing with the Stars: The Pros’ Most Memorable Dances. Hosted by pros Derek Hough, Cheryl Burke, Kym Herjavec, and Brandon Armstrong, they will go down memory lane and countdown the best dances throughout the series.

There are still a few weeks to go until the ballroom is open, but be on the lookout for any hints regarding celebrity competitors, pros, special guests, or theme nights.

The season 31 cast reveal is on September 8 on Good Morning America, and the new season of Dancing With the Stars premieres on September 19, live and the next day streaming on Disney+.
