Enola Holmes 2 Is Going to Be Grittier and Exciting

The famous Holmes siblings are back for the Enola Holmes sequel. The film will star Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things) and the heartthrob Henry Cavill (Justice League) to be released on November 4. 

In the upcoming film, Enola Holmes attempts to open her own detective agency where she exercises her unique skills of deduction. However, she quickly realizes how difficult it is being a female sleuth-for-hire. As soon as she is ready to throw-in-the-towel, a young girl hires Enola to find her missing sister.

From there, Enola becomes entangled in the dangerous world of the highest echelons of society as conspiracies arise from every corner.

Director of Enola Holmes, Harry Bradbeer is known for directing both seasons of Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Fleabag, a show about the inner turmoils of womanhood. He, along with the main cast has revealed snippets about the upcoming film.

Bradbeer claims he wants the sequel to be “grittier.” He plans to introduce Millie’s character to the working-class women in her society, a world she has yet to delve into. Brown adds that the movie will be set in the unexplored “hustle and bustle” part of London.

Henry Cavill has also teased a bonding moment between the Holmes’ siblings. He describes Sherlock’s role as someone falling apart, “He has found a challenge that has proven the better of him, and it is leading him towards a slippery slope — a slope that only Enola has the capacity to pull him back from.”
