Tell Me Lies Renewed for Second Season on Hulu
Lucy and Stephen are coming back for another steamy season. Hulu‘s new original series, Tell Me Lies, has been renewed for season two by the network.
Tell Me Lies is a drama based on Carola Lovering’s novel of the same name. The series aired on September 7 and concluded on October 26. The ten-episode season received positive reactions from fans of the novel and new ones.

Tell Me Lies on Hulu is the most toxic tv show I have ever seen. The finale made me feel so sick. Can’t wait for season 2! #TellMeLies

Season one loosely follows the novel’s plot. Grace Van Patten stars as Lucy, who during her first week at college meets Stephen (Jackson White) and they enter an addictive, toxic relationship. The season includes flashbacks juxtaposed with present scenes, showing how their relationship changes and affects their friends over eight years.
Meaghan Oppenheimer serves as the creator and showrunner for the series. She is joined by Emma Roberts, Karan Preiss, and Matt Matrusk as producers from Belletrist Productions. Carola Lovering also works as a consulting producer.
News of the renewal arrived a month after the first season finished airing. Members of the cast have shown their excitement for the second season on social media. Sonia Mena, who stars as Pippa in the series, wrote on her Instagram, “Oh noooooo. We’re coming to ruin your lives again!”
No details for Tell Me Lies season two have been released at this time. Viewers can catch up on all episodes of season one on Hulu.
