Annual Hollywood Critics Association Awards: Complete Winners List

The 6th annual Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) awards were held on Friday, February 24 at the Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel. The Hollywood Critics Association was “created to bring together an inclusive and passionate group of voices that collectively represent a new era in Hollywood.”

Glitter Magazine Founder and Hollywood Critics Association President, Nikki Fowler, and HCA member Kolby Mac presented Brendan Fraser with his Best Actor win for The Whale. He gave a deeply moving speech where he expressed, “And I’m telling you with every inch of my whale-sized heart, I wish the very same for anyone of you or those of you know who might also feel lost at sea, you deserve to go and seek the luck that you deserve. There’s a beautiful life waiting for you to embrace, take that step toward the light.”

The HCA awards are always a star studded affair. The show honored three special individuals on top of the additional 2023 HCA Film Award winners: the Acting Achievement Award for Angela Bassett, the Filmmaking Achievement for Rian Johnson, and the Spotlight Award to the cast and crew of RRR.

The HCA Awards was a night to remember celebrating film. Congratulations to all of the winners.
