Lindsay Lohan Announced Her First Pregnancy and Everyone’s Excited
On Tuesday, actress and pop culture icon Lindsay Lohan announced that she is going to be a mom. Lohan shared the news in a sweet, simple Instagram post.
The post featured a photo of a white onesie with the words “Coming Soon” printed on it in cursive letters. In the caption, Lohan wrote, “We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼.” She also tagged her husband, Bader Shammas, with whom she is expecting her first child. Following her announcement, the actress also told TMZ, “We are very excited for our new family member to arrive and we are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!”
Back in November 2021, Lohan announced her engagement to Bader Shammas on Instagram as well. Unlike Lohan, Shammas remains relatively quiet on social media. In fact, his Instagram profile is not public and has a meager 741 followers. Nevertheless, Lohan has enough social media presence for them both, regularly expressing love and gratitude for her husband.
The two parents to be reportedly tied the knot last July. Lohan first referred to Shammas as her husband on Instagram, where she shared a selfie and gushed about him. In the caption, the star wrote, “I am the luckiest woman in the world. You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything.”
Lohan, perhaps best known for living out her tumultuous career in the unrelenting Hollywood limelight, recently made her return to acting. After remaining relatively removed from the entertainment industry for several years, she came back to star in Netflix’s holiday romantic comedy, Falling For Christmas. This project marked Lohan’s first leading role in a major film since 2013.
Furthermore, the film is part of the actress’ creative partnership with Netflix. Netflix announced the deal last March and promised two films starring Lohan in the near future. This means that in addition to Falling For Christmas, we can look forward to more Lindsay Lohan movies, new and old, on the streaming service.
In the meantime, Lohan has plenty to look forward to in her personal life as she readies to welcome her first child. After her initial announcement, the internet overflowed with support for the star, who spent nearly all her life in the public eye.
