Jennie Kim and Calvin Klein Partner on New Collection

BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim announced she has collaborated with Calvin Klein to release a capsule collection.

On May 4, Calvin Klein took to Instagram to share the exciting news. In a series of posts, the brand shared clips and photos of Jennie in various pieces from the collection. In the first post, the name of the collaboration is announced: “Jennie for Calvin Klein.” The caption read, “The first ever JENNIE capsule collection for Calvin Klein. Available May 10th.”

In another post, the brand showed a purple midi dress from the collaboration. The caption read, “Calvin Klein essentials through @jennierubyjane’s eyes. Jennie for Calvin Klein. Available May 10th.”

In a statement to Billboard, Jennie explained, “Collaborating with Calvin Klein on this capsule has been an exciting progression in our partnership.” Before this, the entertainer worked as the face of many of the brand’s campaigns. Recently, she served as the face of the brand’s Spring campaign.

Continuing the statement, Jennie gave details of what to expect from the collaboration, “This collection reflects my everyday style and is based on many of the Calvin Klein essentials that have become staples in my wardrobe. I wanted to bring a personal touch to these pieces, which you’ll see reflected in the fit, the color palette and the details.”

The multi-talented performer then stated her goal for the collaboration, “My aspiration for this collection is that everyone will feel as happy and confident in these pieces as I do.”
