Keke Palmer’s boyfriend, Darius Jackson, deleted his Instagram and Twitter accounts after receiving backlash for replying to a video and outfit-shaming Palmer.
The video depicts Palmer wearing a black bodysuit under a sheer Givenchy dress, singing and dancing alongside Usher as he performs “There Goes My Baby” at his Las Vegas residency. Jackson replied to the video on Twitter, stating, “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom.”

Many Twitter users were conflicted by his tweet, wondering whether or not it was satirical. One user stated, “I’m sorry but I refuse to believe Ms Palmer’s boyfriend is serious. That had to be satire.”

However, Jackson shortly followed up with a tweet of his own, seemingly doubling down and solidifying his stance.
“We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is,” Jackson stated. “This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”

Fans on social media are defending Palmer, who has yet to comment on Jackson’s remarks. However, she posted photos in the outfit on Instagram later on Wednesday.
“I wish I had taken more pictures,” Palmer stated in the caption, “but we were running late!”
Usher also hinted at the situation on Threads, a new social media platform by Meta, asking, “Am I trending yet?”
